Nail Restoration System

KeryFlex is a painless treatment that’s performed right here in our office. It can restore the appearance of toenails affected by fungus, defects, or trauma. A composite resin is applied to create protection for the nail while allowing the remaining natural nail to grow. You can apply nail polish and the like as you normally would! 

A composite resin is used to create a flexible, but durable, non-porous nail that allows the remaining natural nail to grow. It is an excellent product for those who have brittle nails, spoon-shaped nails, splitting nails, discolored nails, nails with horizontal ridges, and nails that have changed shape due to injury. 

Similar to dental bonding, KeryFlex uses a resin material that is applied and hardened with a special light. The material bonds to the nail and restores or improves the appearance of the nail.  Nail restoration with the KeryFlex system can often be completed in a single visit. It will also remain attached to your nail for 6 to 9 months until your new, natural nail grows in. 

Please note that KeryFlex does not cure nail fungus. That issue should be treated before KeryFlex is considered. If your nail has lasting damage due to a fungus, KeryFlex will restore its appearance. If you would like to learn more about KeryFlex, get in touch with us today.

Most of the time, KeryFlex can be applied in 30 minutes or less, but it depends on the number of nails being done. There is no pain involved; it’s basically like getting a pedicure. Individuals with peripheral vascular disease, arterial insufficiency, peripheral neuropathy, suspicious lesions on the nail, or ingrown nails should not use KeryFlex. It should also be avoided by women who are pregnant or nursing.
