Toenail Laser Treatments in Midland & Odessa, TX

Dr. Rascon and Dr. Barrett of West Texas Foot & Ankle Associates are certified in both toenail fungus treatment and laser toenail treatment.

Symptoms of nail fungus include thick, discolored nails that may also be distorted in shape. There may also be a slightly foul odor. Without proper treatment, the fungus will only get worse and may spread to the surrounding skin.

How does treatment work?

West Texas Foot & Ankle Associates uses the HyperBlue 1530 laser to treat toenail fungus. This laser kills the fungus living in and underneath the toenail without damaging the nail itself. The procedure takes only 15 minutes, and you can walk immediately afterward.

In addition to the laser fungus treatment, West Texas Foot & Ankle Associates has several other options available. Oral and/or topical antifungal medication may be prescribed, and there is the non-surgical option of dissolving the nail. However, in some cases, the fungus may require surgical removal.

There is now also the newer option of KeryFlex, a professional nail restoration system. If you think you may have a toenail fungus, call our office to make an appointment today! We proudly serve patients throughout Midland, TX; Odessa, TX; Pecos, TX; Big Spring, TX; and Fort Stockton, TX.
